I decided to build this RC truck, because I’ve yet to see an on-road truck in the marketplace, so I figured if I built an RC on-road truck it would probably perform better than anything currently in stores. So I began my journey and I started searching online for parts and guidance. I found plenty of sources for custom builds and parts so I quickly began plotting my build.
I constructed her over 2 years with no blueprints or plans, all parts were purchased online and only from sellers that had dimensions and sizes listed in the product description. I did this because their aren't too many hobby shops in New York so getting parts in person was not an option. Getting these parts to fit was a lot of trial and tribulation but the pay off was huge.
This little sucker is a 1/18 scale radio control nitro powered on road racing truck. This truck is made of 100 aluminum from its frame all through to the shocks and arms. This truck easily kicks in at 55+ mph and she hugs the road like a German build crossover.

Body : JT racing buggy frame that was pre-set with T-maxx holes and fittings.
Shocks: Integy T-maxx aluminum shocks (not to happy with them but they great).
Heads: Custom made aluminum T-maxx headers.
Diffs: Aluminum custom fabricated differentials and casings.
Arms: Gorilla racing aluminum T-maxx arms.
Trans: Ofna 2 speed buggy transmission.
Engine: Ofna big block .28 engine (beastly).
Well in a nutshell that is my build , I am pretty proud of her, she was a fun build and driving her is 100 times more fun. Comments are open, if you have any questions just leave a comment and try my best to reply.
